SPAG – irregular past tense

Filed Under (General News) by on 03-10-2017 and tagged , ,

Nonsense! Nonsense! Some verbs would sound really bad if we followed the regular rules – like GET – it would be GETTED!

So what you should do here is choose a card – then in comments write the verb, what it would be if it followed regular rule, then use it correctly.

VERB – to get.

I getted my coat from the cloakroom. WRONG.

I got my coat from the cloakroom. CORRECT.
