Tvisha’s review of: Dairy of a wimpy kid double down
Author: Jeff Kinney
Genre: Fiction

This is a great book. The book is about his mum saying to explore his creative side and put down the controller. Halloween is coming and the frights are coming from every angle in Greg’s family. When he discovers the gummy worms he has a brilliant idea to use them for a scary movie. Read and discover what happens next in the story. My favaourite part was when he he had bad dreams because of the fritening books he read. I think it’s sutible for ages 6-12. I will give this book 10/10.

Today in Maths we have been learning about using trial and error and investigating different solutions when we are solving number problems. Have a go at solving this problem…….

I am thinking of a number.
It is greater than 1500 but smaller than 2500.
The digits add up to 13.
The difference between the largest and smallest digit is 5. What could the number be?

Comment below with ALL of the possible solutions; not just one!

Nonsense! Nonsense! Some verbs would sound really bad if we followed the regular rules – like GET – it would be GETTED!

So what you should do here is choose a card – then in comments write the verb, what it would be if it followed regular rule, then use it correctly.

VERB – to get.

I getted my coat from the cloakroom. WRONG.

I got my coat from the cloakroom. CORRECT.

Hello Year 4!

On Tuesday 3rd October (next week) we are going to make our own fossils. We will be using plaster of paris and plasticine but you will also need something to make a fossil of. This could be a small bone or part of a bone, a shell from the seaside or a small plastic animal. Remember it will get covered in plaster of paris so it can’t be covered in fabric, however we will clean them when we are finished! If you can’t find anything, don’t worry – I have some spares.

What are you planning to bring in and make a fossil with? I’m really looking forward to making them with you!
